Without a cord getting in the way of my strap-hanging and one less thing to remember to bring/put away when I reach my destination, 1 Voice’s beanie Bluetooth headphones are quite convenient. Our reasoning behind why the hat’s useful comes from the point of view of a city dweller, but we could see 1 Voice’s headphone beanie being used by winter athletes as well.

The Beanie Hat Headphone is a hat with a better looking cover for the distracting power button/charging port. Aside from this horrific LED-blinking oversight, this hat is awesome. As someone who has found their white ear pods being pushed out of my ears when attempting to stay warm in the colder months, this hat came just in time. As with many highly portable headphones, music quality was good but not great. Listening to podcasts, however, were superb.

Whether it's the collar of my jacket or the hoodie on top of my hat, headphones and winter gear typically don’t mix well. But convenience may be 1 Voice’s biggest strength as well as drawback. While the headphone hat’s size allows it to blend in nearly perfectly, we can’t help but feel like the size of the speakers within limited sound quality. Perhaps the next version 1 Voice’s knit hat can pack better internals into the same form factor.

Fortunately the parts within the beanie were water resistant and by removing them the hat became machine washable. Even though having the button exposed made no difference in comfort, I found myself folding that part over while wearing 1 Voice’s beanie so as to not look like a cyborg.
